Zipp 900 Zedtech Rear Wheel

This is an excellent opportunity to buy one of he fastest disc wheels available!

I have a Zipp 900 Zedtech wheel in virtually pristine condition.

Only a few thousand Zedtech wheels were made - Zipp selected the truest and lightest 900 discs and fitted them with ceramic bearings and even a beautiful dimpled hub. I bought this one a couple of months ago from a guy who was given it by Zipp. He had ridden it once. I have since used it for less than 100 miles - I can show you the data. I have now switched to my Zipp super 9 - also a very fast wheel, but more importantly for me the same width as my other wheels (for various duathlon courses I like to be able to switch to different wheels without having to adjust the integrated brakes etc).

If I wasn't spending so much on racing this would be on the wall - it's a thing of beauty. I also guarantee it'll make you go faster (and make an exquisite noise whilst doing it).

The wheel takes a tubular tyre (it has an as-new Vittoria Corsa fitted) and has a Shimano freehub. No cassette, but I'll chuck in a Zipp skewer.

Well Jeff, I'll happily use maths to demonstrate that you can go faster for the same power output (assuming other variables such as conditions and position remain constant, or are factored in)... Or you could just trust blind faith that they are faster because they look it

Well, wind would count as one of the "conditions" described in my last message.

But since you mention it, owing to the excellent performance of the 900 disc at high yaw angles you can certainly expect this wheel to be faster in the wind than most other wheels.

Bentley deal fell through . will have to make do with a Mavic rear wheel with a bit of dustbin plastic taped on..Keep going G
