Make sure you get our e-mails

St Neots Cycling Club sends out e-mails such as newsletters, updates about club events and news about the club. As a member of the club, or just someone interested in the club, you'll want to receive these e-mails. Unfortunately many e-mail clients, such as Outlook, Outlook Express, Windows Live, Hotmail, Yahoo, Gmail, and so on, include spam blockers that can affect delivery and display of some e-mail messages. This means that sometimes e-mails that you want might not reach you; they might end up in your "Junk e-mail", or they might be displayed without images.

To ensure that you continue receiving your e-mail or your subscriptions, and that they display properly, we recommend adding the email address or our domain (stneotscyclingclub.info) to your contacts, address book or your list of safe senders. If you do that, you should continue to receive e-mails from us without them going to your junk e-mail folder. Follow the instructions below for your e-mail client to add our e-mail address or domain to your list of safe senders (your "white-list"):

Note that some people use an e-mail client such as Outlook, to read e-mail from, eg, a Yahoo! e-mail account (POP mail) - if you do this, you might need to set the primary POP mail server account to pass e-mail directly to your e-mail client without checking for spam as otherwise you will have  to deal with Junk e-mail boxes located in two places - on the POP mail server (eg on Yahoo! Mail) and in your client - and if Yahoo! or whatever POP mail server you use blocks the e-mail you will not see it at all in your client - not even in your 'Junk Mail' or 'Spam' folder.

Also note that many people use additional spam protection from programs such as Norton and so on. If you do, you will need to check the documentation to find out how to create a safe senders list for these applications.
