Ronaldo & Pillinger Post Best Times...

The third evening of the SNCC TT season had 11 riders at the start of the 11.2 mile Abbotsley course, a drop from the 26 last week, probably due in part to the heavy rain all day and the SNCC Open TT on the 17th.

The good news, however, was that the full course was available to ride and in the absence of the dreaded traffic lights once again allowed PBs to be posted.

The evening delivered 3 PB’s from Simon Rinaldo , David Wilson and Chris Green and congratulations to all three and also to Simon Richardson who was within ten seconds of his PB. Nic Pillinger was fastest for the second time this season with a 26:50, Simon Richardson was sub-28 minutes with a 27:51 and Simon Rinaldo took 44 seconds out of his opening time of 2015 with a 28:22. David Wilson and Chris Green improved their PBs by 22 and 14 seconds respectively.

This Thursday’s time trial takes place at the Croxton junction about a mile to the east of Abbotsley village with sign-on at the latest at 6.45 pm for a 7.00pm start. Non-members are welcome to "Come and Try".21st May 2014
