TT Report for 2nd June 2016

Ian Turner led the way home on a cold overcast evening for the 16 riders contesting the latest SNCC TT around the 11.2 mile Abbotsley course with a 25:37. Darren Preston making his 2016 debut was second with 26:41 and Nic Pillinger in third place with 27:35.

The course only yielded 2 PB’s on the night from Neil Adams and Sam MacDonald (his sixth successive PB) .

A few of the regulars were clearly saving their legs for the Tour Of Cambridgeshire TT on the Saturday.

Particular thanks this evening to the timekeepers – Mandy , Colin and John – who endured the cold to allow us to compete and also to Mandy for the welcome hot drinks and excellent cake at the end .
