Hi
Anyone know whether there is any advantage / disadvantage from having a 23 tyre on the front wheel and a 25 tyre on the rear?
It has been suggested that this would reduce rolling resistance and improve ability to make steering corrections quickly, while nor adversely affecting handling or grip.
I'm just worried that it will mean more vibration from the road surface gets passed onto the handlebars, and that I will loose some grip, although I know that the weight is not as great on the front.
Would appreciate some advice from more experienced riders, and would especially like to hear from someone who rides with that setup.
If it helps, I am planning on using Continental Grand Prix 4 tyres for this, on my Cannondale, Evo Super 6.

I ran 23 on the front and a 25 on the back winter before last, mainly because those were the two spare tyres I had knocking about. I can't say it made much of a difference, and can't see how other than affecting tyre pressures, how it could.
