For the last twelve or so years i've had a fan resistance turbo, recently upgraded to a fluid one, and am still impressed by how quite it is!!

To add to it, i got the continental home trainer tyre, quieter still!!

So what kit are you just simply impressed by, for what ever reason!

My Snood. Although looking forward to putting it away now.

Lezyne hand pumps - easy to use, inflate fast (for a hand pump) and to a very decent of pressure. Definitely the best handpump I've owned.

Online mapping tools are great, but OS Maps are still the best things for planning a new route

Another vote for Lezyne hand pumps here, I'm extremely impressed with my Road Drive.

My Northwave Fahrenheit GTX winter boots have been fantastic, keeping my feet warm and dry in a way that overshoes just can't compete with.

Gore Oxygen 3/4 Windstopper bib knickers. The pad is fantastic and they've kept my legs warm through some cold and windy rides.

The coconut, lemon and ginger slices at Buttercups cafe in Kimbolton. 'Nuff said.

I'm really impressed with chris's seat post , it's amazing how easy it makes the hills , you can really notice the difference when Chris is not on the ride

From what i've seen the Lezyne lights are pretty good too, one of the UK Youth rider lost one in a Nocturne crit where we were marshalling, so had a good look at it until the race was over.

A lot of light in a little package!!

I'll keep the winter boots in mind, feet still get damp with overshoes (just not as cold.

Also if Gore do full length of those I'll consider them or the Castelli ones next winter too.

I wasn't expecting much from my Tenn winter weight jerseys but they've done (and continuing to do) me a decent turn and for less than £20 each, bit a bargain too.

I've been surprised at how much overshoes make a difference to keeping my feet warm too, and how my new bike (Cannondale CAAD8) is so much nicer to ride than my first bike (B'twin Triban 3).

When I find the nirvana of a comfy shorts/seat combo, I'll extol the virtues of that too...

Garmin Edge 500 - Was using strava on my phone but that HR/Cadence is great on the road and the turbo.

Specialized Romin - unbelievably comfortable

DHB Windslam Jerseys - Windproof front panel makes them very versatile. (especially good for hard riding in colder conditions)

Cycleops Jet Fluid Pro - infinitely better than the magnetic turbos I've used before.
