So a TT and a Road Race to report on. For the TT we had 3 members riding on a very windy course, thanks to Sam McDonald for pushing off, Ian Stokes for organising the event and to Norman King for being the Timekeepers Assistant (checking for lights and helmets). The NDCA events are a great way of getting into Time Trialling at an "Open" level. Pat continues to race and did a road race on Sunday riding for VeloElite RC.

Race Report from Pat:- Saturday saw the return of the N&DCA TT series with the F15/10, luckily the rain stayed away but the weather gods made up for lack of rain with gale force winds. Fortunately the course was protected from the worst of the side winds by a decent hedge, I managed to stay on the bars most of the way and managed to record a PB 24:36 on my second attempt on my new TT bike. 290 watts average power both ways, message to self must work harder on the return leg. On Sunday after a 2 hr drive to near Evesham time for a British Masters Road race, a group of 30 plus 70+ riders and lady riders competed in a near 50 mile race, did a fair bit of work on the front managed to lead into the straight but got outsprinted a bit of an uncommon occurrence, finish in mid division. On the bright side the weather was great sunshine and a gentle breeze, pleased with my fitness anyway now for the joys of the hills of Cyprus!
