Quite a few results this week, mass turnout by SNCC members at the East Anglian VTTA F2A/10 last Weds (bad luck to Gary Stevens on his first TT in 9 years who punctured on the way to the start), the same event is on the 12th Jun as well.
Please note the first Inter Club is the HNCC 30 (actually just over 27 miles) on 23rd Jun with a 0800 start you can enter by following the link https://www.icknield.cc/racing/interclub/entries.php we already have the mighty Sam entered so hopefully we can get quite a few others out riding for the club. Good luck to Sam and Nic at the ECCA 100 on Sunday, that's a long way to TT!

Sun 9th Jun RTTC National Circuit Champs on the L143x2 TT 28 miles Pat Ellerbeck on road bike 2nd in age group (39th of 54 starters) 1.21.27
Pat's Race Report - This weekends escapade was a 4 hr journey there and back to Greystoke (no sign of Tarzan), interrupted by the joys of queuing at Wentbridge Viaduct and as an added attraction lots of police activity on the A66 at Appleby to coincide with the horse fair (plenty of vehicle tax inspecting). To the Cumbrians I spoke to, the course was a typical course with plenty of climbs and fast descents, no kidding for a Southern softy it was real tough, from 9 mph on some of the climbs to 45 mph on the technical downhill descents. All in all happy with my 2nd in age group on my road bike, beaten by a local hardman only by 1 min on his TT bike (spin data had him to beat me by 3 mins). My time 1:21:27 - anyone fancying a tough TT on narrow roads with variable road surfaces with huge variations in wattage output, I highly recommend L143x2. Thoroughly enjoyed the course, especially the adrenaline rushes as you approach blind corners at speed!
Sun 9th Jun Reading CC Road Race Stassi Bowler St Pirans Womens RT 6th 44 miles - great effort led her team mate out for the win."
