Pat's Report

Keeping up with long trips, 530 mile round trip for a very tough British Masters Cycling 60 mile national road race with 4000ft of climbing, raced with the 60s and 65s pace got a bit hectic and got dropped on the first series of shorter climbs. Solo for 30 miles gradually passing dropped riders, hardest ride since Cyprus UCI. Pleased to eventually finish 2nd in my age group on a course that didn’t play to my strengths, taking it relatively easy now until the World UCI's at the end of the month. Deserve a day off today (Monday).
