Two sets of results this week but one was a humdinger of an event the ECCA 10 on the E2/10 where the club record books were rewritten again this season.
Huge congratulations to all involved, lots of PBs and great to see Simon Murphy back riding an Open, I guess the barometric gods did their best for the guys, great report from Sam as well. As a bonus SNCC won the Team Prize as well, a true team effort. Nice to see the Cyclo Cross season back again, not sure how many members we will have riding them this season.

Sam's Report
It's always brilliant to do an event where everyone rides fantastically and are really pleased with their results, and that's exactly what
happened at the ECCA 10-mile TT on the E2/10 course on Saturday 7th September. Conditions were excellent and everyone made the most of them.
Simon Murphy was the first St Neots rider back, setting a new PB of 20:00 to hit the magic 30mph average speed marker for the first time. It
also got him 31st place overall, 14th ECCA member and 1st on handicap.
Shaun Jarvis was the next rider in with a time of 19:23 - another big PB which put him in 15th place overall and 6th among ECCA members.
Nic Pillinger kept things going with another excellent PB of 18:58 to take 8th place overall, 3rd place amongst ECCA members and the club
record for 10 miles.
However, he only held onto the record for 5 minutes because Sam McDonald followed up with a time of 18:28 for 3rd place overall and 1st place
amongst ECCA members.
And for the cherry on top of an already great afternoon, St Neots won the fastest team prize too. With such high-quality rides from all 4
riders, this may have been the best team performance the club has ever had in a time trial.
