This was the penultimate TT of the season and a number of the contenders were assessing the number of riders and how many points would be on offer this evening. We were greeted by a warm but overcast evening on the course with only a slight wind to contend with.

Two guest riders, Stephen Halsall and Kevin Stokes, led the way home with Tom Stead the first club rider across the finish line.

PBs continue to be broken, and Stephen Muchmore had an outstanding evening delivering a 29.54 and this from someone who until last week had not gone under 32 minutes. So, get hold of a new lightweight bike and the minutes will just drop off. Well done Stephen. Geoff Smith continues to push on and this week was under 29 minutes for the first time. Another well done to our old friend Dom Whitehead who was under 30 minutes for the first time this season. Jonathan Pang took his PB down to 30.41, Jane Stapleton found another three seconds, Andrew Kluth another ten seconds. Kevin Holditch, Jon Keefe and Craig Jallal all achieved PBs.

Sorry to hear news that Brian Morley one of our stalwart timekeepers took a fall at home and missed the event. However, he is hoping to be there for the last TT next week. Get well soon, Brian.  This week's TT starts at 7pm with sign on at 6:45pm

Handicap Trophy Update

Steve Pleasance has timed his run to the line very well and continues in first position. Rob Black lost ground, however Jonathan Pang is not giving up after his excellent PB. Steve Muchmore very much regrets not buying his new bike earlier in the season otherwise he would be pushing for the Trophy.

Next week should be very interesting and we look forward to seeing as many riders as possible for the season’s finale.
