Turner Fastest at Windy TT...
(N.B. Start Time for 27th August is 7pm and not 7.15p)
Compared with the previous week the conditions were almost tropical for the 25 riders ready to contest the penultimate TT of the 2015 season. However what could not be ignored was the wind which had an impact on almost all the riders.
Ian Turner was fastest home in a time of 25:16 followed by Nic Pillinger and one of our regular guest riders, Steve Torley. As with the previous week the course was not going to yield many PBs and on the night only Richard Broad was able to improve on his PB.
The 27th August is the last TT of the 2015 season and as always the weeks have gone far too quickly and soon it will only be another 34 weeks until the start of the 2016 TT season.
Look forward to seeing as many riders as possible on the 27th.

Handicap Trophy – Running Total
Chris Green had a 25 point lead going into tonight’s TT which he has now extended to 35 points and this has taken him clear of the chasing pack to secure the 2015 Handicap Trophy in his first season with the Club. Congratulations to Chris.

This Thursday’s time trial takes place at the Croxton junction about a mile to the east of Abbotsley village and note the earlier sign on at 6.45 pm for a 7.00 pm start. Non-members are welcome to "Come and Try". We would also recommend lights.
