St Neots CC Time Trial results for 18th August 2016
Congratulations to James Tucker, a guest rider, who broke the course record with the excellent time of 23:34 taking 24 seconds from the previous record on a night that also included 6 PBs for SNCC riders.
There were 25 riders at the start line to contest the penultimate TT of the 2016 season and in contrast to the previous two weeks the wind up to the golf course turn was at the rider’s back which clearly suited a number of the riders who were able to post PBs.
Ian Turner was second home going sub 25 minutes for the second time this season and only five seconds away from his PB. Good to see Luke Hattersley back at Abbotsley taking third spot with 25:21. Congratulations to Keith Barton, Chris Green, George Lendrum, Dave Richards, Daniel Biggs and Paul Shearer on their respective PBs.
Also a welcome to first time “Abbo” debutants James McKenzie, Michael Hoy and Jane Wilson and we hope that you enjoyed the course and look forward to seeing you again.
Average time for the 25 riders was 29:06 the best so far this season.

This will be the final TT of the 2016 season and it would be good to see as many riders there as possible and also we will be presenting the 2016 Handicap Trophy to the winner.

Handicap Results – Total
Going into the final TT of the season Sam continues, as he has for many weeks, at the top of the leader table despite the best efforts of Keith to overhaul his lead.
Keith took another 4 points from Sam’s lead this evening to reduce the difference to 14.5 points and the destiny of the Handicap Trophy will be determined next week.
Third place also remains a very open contest which will also go to the last evening’s racing with Jane, Neil and Chris all in contention.
We would encourage as many riders as possible to be at the last TT to ensure as many points as possible are available to be won on the night.
