2 PB’s with Pillinger fastest home on the night!

The third SNCC TT of the season drew 20 riders this evening to test themselves on the challenging 11.2 mile Abbotsley course and once again the riders enjoyed a dry and warm evening.

First home this evening was Nic followed by a new guest rider, Tim Phillips, and in third place former club member Marl Mossop who improved by a second over last week.

Two PBs this evening and chapeau to Simon for taking another 7 seconds from his PB of last week and welcome back to Wayne Tunnah who went sub 28 minutes for the first time.

Our thanks once again to Mandy , Colin and John for the excellent time keeping and recording which allows us all to take part and enjoy the evening. Mandy’s cakes were delicious as always.

Handicap Results

Quick reminder that for the Handicap Trophy points are awarded for the number of riders on the night less Guests and First Time Members. So tonight 20 riders and 15 points on offer. A Handicap Time of 25 minutes or less means that you have either matched your PB or improved on it. A Handicap Time greater than 25 minutes shows how much you are off your PB.

To be in contention to win the 2018 Handicap Trophy you need to do as many TTs as you can and ride as close to or improve on your PB consistently until the end of the season.

Congratulations to Wayne for taking the maximum 15 points on offer and it looks like Simon Elkington will be making a bid to retain the Handicap Trophy he won in 2018 with another seven seconds from his previous PB

With the absence of Daniel Biggs, Norman King took the opportunity to take first place in the current race for the 2018 Trophy with Simon Elkington moving into third spot.
