Execellent Evening for PBs – 6 in total

The seventh SNCC TT enticed 21 riders this evening to test themselves once again on the 11.2 mile Abbotsley course and a welcome back to Mark Greenhow and Daniel Grant for their first SNCC of this season and clearly both on form delivering respective PBs.

Congratulations to Ryan Witchell for delivering another excellent time of 24:23 to be fastest home tonight with Nic Pillinger in second and Mark Greenhow in third spot.

Six PBs this evening and congratulations to Mark, Graham, Simon, Pat, Daniel and Jim for their respective improvements.

Average time this evening was 29:34 and to date 39 members have taken part this season. We would encourage more members to join us on a Thursday evening.

Handicap Results

Quick reminder that for the Handicap Trophy points are awarded for the number of riders on the night less Guests and First Time Members. So tonight 21 riders and 17 points on offer. A Handicap Time of 25 minutes or less means that you have either matched your PB or improved on it. A Handicap Time greater than 25 minutes shows how much you are off your PB.

To be in contention to win the 2018 Handicap Trophy you need to do as many TTs as you can and ride as close to or improve on your PB consistently until the end of the season.

Congratulations to Daniel for taking the maximum 17 points on offer by improving his PB by 76 seconds

Handicap Trophy – 2018 – Running Total

Simon Elkington retains first place in the hunt for the 2018 Handicap Trophy with Norman King taking second spot followed by Simon Murphy in third. Another 11 TT’s plus the Ashman Trophy in July with many points still on offer this season.
