The annual club hill climb was held last Sunday, 24th. High winds and threatening skies kept many riders away from taking on the gruelling 1.1% Staughton Moor. Although, a fierce headwind made it a lot harder than advertised. A ‘Dutch hill climb’ if ever there was one.

Stephen Ellerbeck took the honours with a creditable 5:13, Tom Muldoon second, and Simon Winter 3rd. Adam Hutchinson dropped his sunglasses on the climb which he claims cost him at least a minute.
