Pat Ellerbeck rode the Ely Hardriders 25 (25 miles) on Sun Feb 12th, the course was a mixture of fast main roads and narrow country lanes with multiple potholes, ruts and plenty of mud as well as some slippery corners, glad I was on a road bike, he had a few twitches (as did a few on our club runs). 

He is very pleased with a time of 1:05:20  with (for the technical/"pointyheads") 282 watt normalised power, he managed to better his Spindata prediction (https://www.spindata.co.uk/ explains more) and won the 1st veteran on standard time by 3 minutes.

This was Pat's first TT of the season so all in all a satisfactory start to the season.
