The club would like to thank all the participants on today's Club Hill Climb Championship for their spirit and effort.
All the riders faced the same tricky conditions, pushed themselves to the limit and tried to hit their own individual target, be it to lift the trophy, beat a fellow member, set a new personal record or use the event as a comeback from injury ride.
Our winner today was Sam McDonald who narrowly beat Wayne Tunnah to become this years Champion, Simon Elkington pushed hard to take the final place on the podium. Well done Sam for a great climb.

A special mention for Steve Lyons today. Having suffered from a nasty crash earlier in the year it was great to see Steve back out on a new bike and riding with the club.
Well done Steve.
