Sorry Joe was nursing a hangover so didn't make it, have downloaded the route for future use though. When you're creating routes on mapometer next time remember to highlight the follow roads icon otherwise it justs plots a straight line from a-b.

Geoff - thanks very much for the route you put up. As Steve didn't make it, we didn't have anyone with GPS so we had to do it from memory. We didn't do too badly but didn't follow the route exactly. .It turned out to be a classic grp 1 ride - 2 flats, 1 crash and a few wrong turns .
Bomber and Mark hit the deck on a sharp bend ( both ok), I would have dropped it too if Adrian Bloxham hadn't warned me in advance of the danger. Thanks AB
