Change of scenery

Just sounding people out.

When I was in Norwood Paragon we would have a weekend in late Feb early March in Wiltshire. Two days riding, staying at a B&B.

Anyone fancy something similar to get away from the usual club run routes? To keep costs down I'm suggesting leave ealry Saturday morning. Drive up to say 4 hours (could get to Cumbria/north Wales/Dartmoor) ride for the afternoon.B&B overnight. Ride Sunday. Drive home.

I can throw 8 people with bikes and kit in my van (will need to get bike racks). Can easily get 6 people in with kit and bikes (no rack). We can take a stove and kettle for hot drinks and snacks.

B&B should be about £50. Petrol £20 - £30 per person.

If its a success, we can do it in summer and camp!

Sounds good but I'm fully booked Feb and March but would be interested later in the year.

justin, we are planning to do the coast to coast shortly, for a change of scenery, basically being dropped of at whitehaven then the van is meeting us at a suitable hostelry en route for lunch then onto evening meal and digs, and complete the next day . the plan is not to make this a complicated affair .

me too. The route could be split in two - the top loop on Saturday and the bottom loop on Sunday, to fit with Justin's original time frame. B&B mear Michaelston Forrest and use that as a base for cars and our start and finish point on both days??

Is there a date set, I might be able to get a pass for early March.
