MAGPAS Cambridge Sportive - 19/05/2013 was created by Mark Colmer
MAGPAS is the clubs nominated charity this year and we have already raised over £170 in sales of Gels and Energy Powder.
MAGPAS Cambridge Cycle Challenge on 19th May is another fund raiser and all of the riders fee's (£25/person), go directly to MAGPAS.
For more details see:- www.wheelsinwheels.com/Magpas/Lancaster_...Cycle_Challenge.html

The route takes us North East of Cambridge, which, for many of us is new territory.

Is there a route posted somewhere? The link just says east of Cambridge. East of Cambs to Newmarket and Bury St Edmunds and roads south have some excellent riding. But North east is just *****n* horrible fen roads...

Which is exactly why I try and avoid riding in the Fens! 30 flat miles into what will probably be a head wind.

Otherwise the route looks good, especially once you get passed Linton, but I think would be better if it came back south of the A1304 then down to Six Mile Bottom. The climb out of Fulbourn is a good draggy one - Cambridge use the other side for their hill climb, about the same gain, but shorter and steeper
