Hot Cross Club Run? was created by Ch3rryGh0st
Is there any interest in organising a ride on Good Friday (29 March)? Perhaps something a touch longer than the usual Sunday run, with a stop for tiffin? Perhaps the fabled Oundle route or something Fenny?

Andy, this was last years 'Hot Cross Bun Run' route.

gb.mapometer.com/cycling/route_2848346.html

Those wishing to do a shorter ride can turn off at Winwick and head back to St Neots.

Looks a tidy little route and stretch my legs a bit more to see how I'm going for events I'd like to do later in the year (assuming they also don't sell out on me)

We normally stop at Oundle for coffee but unfortunately I can't make it this year as I'll be travelling to Flanders.
We had a good turn out last year, get Alec to put it on the front page of our web site.
Have fun ;)

Might manage the shortcut route, 55 might stretch me too much as my steed is still off the road waiting for parts, so fitnessnis dropping even less (if thats possible)

Only just over a week to Easter now, and I've not seen any further talk about this, so what say we do a Good Friday (29 March) run from the Market Square at 0830? I don't know about anyone else, but I'll be riding GP2 pace, and as Mark mentioned we could stop for coffee, cake and a general re-grouping at Oundle.

The Coffee Tavern is mentioned on our "Cafe Stops" page, so we can aim for that, unless anyone has an alternative suggestion?

Turning for home at Winwick, and cutting out the Oundle loop, will bring the miles back into GP2 Sunday club run territory, for anyone one wants a ride but doesn't want to do the full loop. It also gives us an escape option, if the weather is against us. If you do think you may turn home at Winwick, it's doubly important that you know the route, as there may not be other riders to rely on for directions.

I've republished Mark's route here: gb.mapometer.com/cycling/route_2848346.html

I'll put something on Twitter, too, and ask Alistair to send out an email to capture those who don't use the forum/Twitter, but may be interested.

I'm interested, but (as always) it's time restrictions for me.

Garmin Connect version of the route for tomorrow if anyone needs it

connect.garmin.com/course/3157647

I don't think it messed with Andy's course (apart from the run into Little Staughton which I spotted and corrected).
