Friday Morning Ride - 12 April was created by Ch3rryGh0st
There will be a tranquillo GP2-paced ride on Friday, leaving the Market Square at 0900, for a distance of around 60 miles. Alternatively, if you're feeling all continental, you can ride approx. 100km.

At the moment, the BBC are currently reporting relatively gentle westerlies of around 8mph, but a route will be finalised on Wednesday or Thursday, to allow for any changes to that.

A cake stop is likely to be planned in, so we can have a quick spot of lunch, too.

Note that this is Friday, not Saturday. I'll put something up about a Saturday ride later in the week.

I'm in London on Thursday, munching my way around Borough Market. Enjoy Barca and make sure you bring back plenty of stories!

Seconded, and bring back some sunshine while you're at it. Between you and Geoff we might get a good amount. Have a good weekend.

I'm down in Hampshire Friday/Saturday so hope the weather holds for you Andy

Borough Market,nice.
One place to check out ( if its open midweek ) is broadway at market in Hackney. Quality pie and mash shop and lots of other foody delights. Just watch out you don't get run over by a hipster on a fixie !!!!

Can we place bets on the manufacturer of said fixie? I'm going with it being a Condor ...

I'll take that bet as all the bike shops in that area seem to sell lairey coloured fixies...Condor wouldn't steep so low !!!!

Bit of a PITA getting from Borough to Hackney though, but Pie & Mash.... My personal favorites were the one up at Exmouth Market because I could go there in my lunch break when I was working in the city or my local one on Barking Road near Upton Park. Ah memories! Enjoy the market though, good fun :).

Oddly enough most of the older frames I see in London are Condors ... might be just the area our London office is in though

I love BM, but will be trying to stay away from the bread, cheese and biscuits.

As for Friday's ride, here's the route:

Thanks to Chris for putting it together.
