hi there GS EXCUSE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! G
Hook, line and sinker! I'm thinking if I throw enough of them out there I'll eventually find one for you that you haven't heard before. Might take a while though!
All joking aside was a very good ride up if a bit lumpy. Also noticed that Richard has put some words together on his blog

Cheers Chris, I have no idea how I managed all those hills and having my legs still work, also getting used to some tweaks made by Geoff to my position the previous day; swapped over my stem to the original one that came with the bike, bit longer (10mm shorter than G suggested but still longer than I had on) and no rise.
The bacon sandwich in Uppingham was good, the BBQ there was great and the racing was even better. Hopefully we'll be able to get a few more to ride up and back next year? Was a lovely morning to ride up ... Well apart from my "blue language" moment coming down an 11% hill ...

I think most of the roads had no white line so centre margin was a best guess affair. Nice try though

I made the mistake of training with my Uncle's brother in law on the IoM once, he vanished both up and down the hills, he has no concept of what brakes are for!!
