I would like to invite you to take part in our annual charity bike ride, Ride for Your Lives, and join the East Anglian Air Ambulance on Sunday June 16th, as we attempt to collectively cycle 1000 miles around beautiful Grafham Water in a day.
We’re looking for people to contribute as much or as little as they like, whether it be one mile or 100 miles. Last year, the event proved popular with both families and serious cyclists keen to raise money for the charity and all abilities are welcome.
Registration to the event is £10.00 per individual or £20.00 for a family with sponsorship being greatly encouraged. Cyclists can take hours over one easy lap or get stuck in and ride as far as they can in a day. Families and groups may also like to bring a picnic along and make a day of it.
All the money raised from the event will go directly towards the air ambulance to ensure that we can continue quickly getting doctors and critical care paramedics to the scenes of medical emergencies and help local people when and where they need us most.
Anyone wishing to take part who doesn’t have a bike can still take part as Grafham cycling has kindly offered a 15% discount on bike hire to anyone taking part in the event on the day.
