Just a heads up. As some of you may have noticed on Twitter, myself, Andy Mac & Chris P are sorting out a ride out to Hunstanton provisionally on the 18th of August, date depending on Chris' better half giving birth. Plan is to leave early, across the fens in time for fish & chips on the seafront at lunch time and depending on time, legs etc possibly riding back or riding to somewhere else and getting the train back. It's 80 or so miles to Hunny so it's a day out

.
It's a bit 'fluid' at the moment but given the fickle moods of mother nature, that's the plan so far. As always, the more the merrier

I was thinking about this just the other day, so providing I get my arse in gear and actually ride my bike I'll tag onto that weather/date/changeofplan permitting

Hi there,, that's about 72 miles in old money..should take a easy 4 hrs, 1 hour stop and 4 hours back.
i suggest a 07.00 start.. steady regular riding at 28kph pace and bingo.. as ruth says, maybe a tailwind back... should be a doddle...count me in Geoff...............

I'll pencil it in my diary as well if you'll have me along. Fish and chips are always the best from coastal towns

Hi Geoff,
7 in the morning is what we're aiming for start wise, probably a bit slower in the pace stakes though. 5 hours has been mentioned, plus 30 mins for mechanicals etc so hopefully a 12.30 arrival at Hunstanton. Not sure about the 18th now, but as soon as we've nailed down a date, I'll post it up.
