4 of the Tour of Britain rides are being turned into sportives. Does anyone fancy doing one?

Looking at them I quite fancy the East Anglia stage - this is on Saturday the 8th the day before the first stage, so could combine the two. Start is in Ipswich and finishes at Norwich with a coach transfer between them.

The Stoke sportive on the 23rd September (week after the tour finishes) also looks pretty good too.

Let me know if you're interested so we can sort travel/accomodation

I am doing the Stoke one with a couple of friends. Didn't do it last year but did the previous two years to that. Very challenging course, probably one of the hardest one day events I've done.

They are very well organised events.

I might be interested but will want to ride at a funereal pace - an take about 8 hours over it including stops.

They are showing 'challenge' rides as well as the 'pro' rides for the East Anglia leg at least, which is Gt yarmout to Norwich, a mere 92km

I can't do the Stoke ride. For the East Anglia ride, if we go as a group and make a weekend of it, so stay over and watch the next day, I don't see any reason why we can't do different distances.
