Winter Miles: Saturday 14 December

I'll be doing a GP2-paced ride on Saturday, leaving the Market Square at 0830 and heading south to Ardeley. The distance planned is about 60 miles (100 kilos) and a coffee stop at Church Farm, Ardeley, is highly likely.

All abilities are welcome, and riders wanting to move up from medium G2 rides are encouraged to come along. My expectation is that the group will stay together and work together for the duration of the ride, whatever the abilities of the riders.

I'm up for doing part of the route (I have to be back early) - but that's weather dependent! The forecast is for 40mph gusts and heavy rain at the moment

Looks like a cracking route mate, but as Alisdair has said, the forecast looks atrocious!

The weather does indeed look grim for Saturday, so I'll put up a shorter route at some point today/tomorrow and we can see how things look on the day.

Surely a ride this Saturday should the "A ride to teh sun". The shortest day is here, finally.
