for some strange reason it was one of the best rides to date.
Big well done to the the Famous Five Peloton (me and the other 4) for battling against the strong wind and gusts along the route.
A planned 30 mile ride turned into a 40 mile excursion with Everton Hill thrown in for a giggle
Thanks for a great ride out

Everton hill...how I laughed !!!!!
Was a good ride out ,we all worked well together and the route was very nice seeing as we made it up as we went along.

Chris, I'll reiterate that as were going through Potton Heath, I suggested we go back through Waresley towards home yet you insisted that we do Tetworth Hill as well! You also didn't hear me swear quite a lot at JP as he did me on the town sign. He's quite good at that sprinting milarky

.
Enjoyed it hugely though, I wasn't sure what 12 days of gluttony at Orlando would do for my riding but it was definately a day to be part of a group and one that worked well too

.
Tony.

Agreed it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be although heading South was fun. Abbotsley to the turn on the TT course was also brutal, but I blame Joe for that.

Went for a solo ride west, it was a slog going out but fast coming home...and I spotted the elusive signor Taverna sticking to his plan. Thursday evenings...watch that man

Wimps, try riding an 80 mile solo headwind with a few bumps throwing in it will soon toughen you all up.
