Hello Everyone
I am only asking for now but i am looking to improve my fitness for this coming year
and i know i am not good enough to join the tuesdays chain gang.
So i am hoping to get atleast
4 others or above to join me maybe try for 18 mph group Rides maybe made up medium group riders at this current time and i am sure there must be more than just me looking to gets some good miles in the week as well.
Sorry if any anyone thinks i am trying to get another chain gang up and i know what been said in the past but i am just trying to improve simple as that.
Many Thanks
Steve

I would love to be good enough to join the chain gang, but being just not fit enough (and too old) I wouldn't mind a slower ride out mid week.

Depending on work commitments I should be able to make some weeks.

Ian

Like the sound of this as I would love to get in some more training to pick up fitness and speed, but not sure i'm up to your level. So some questions:

1.) How long (time & distance) will the ride be?
2.) Would you welcome (be honest if this level is not for the likes of me) guys who normally ride the medium slower route on Sundays?
3.) What time would you set off?

Cheers

David

I'd be interested in a Tuesday ride but also a slow medium group rider.

its something that (grumpy) Dave and I had talked about too so I'm sure there would be enough interested to make it worthwhile.

Last year we did our own 'Chain Gang' with a route around Colmworth, might be worth considering again?

Mmmm sounds good to me a nice sedate pace with a few bumps on a Tuesday to shake off the weekend miles. ;)

I would be interested in chaingang style session, like a 17-18mph ride, if the main chaingang kicks off again soon then why not do a shorter distance/slower speed version on the same route? Either the bushmead circuit or the Kimbolton road.
Lots of love
