I have a prior engagement in Essex on that day but below is the link to the route that Richard, Adrian and I did in 2013 (and I offered out last year) in case anyone wants to do the lovely scenic ride to Owston

There's some lovely views on the way out there as well.

Email just gone out. I'm hoping to go out, but if anyone is driving there I might try and beg a lift back. It is a lovely ride out though, the 50miles fly by!
Whether you drive or ride out, it is a superb race to watch.

2013 and 2014 were good weather years and had quite a good "completion rate" from competitors. I remember Richard (I think) telling me about the 2012 race which was in rather less favourable conditions and the attrition rate was actually higher than something like Paris Roubaix I think

Forecast for Sunday is looking pretty good now, sunny but cool. Should be a good day out and always a good race, so no excuses
Gareth, it was 2012, 22 finished if I remember and won by a Frenchman
velorichard.wordpress.com/2012/04/30/rut...the-spectators-dnfd/
I'll meet/wait for people outside the Tavern, Great Staughton
