Popped out this afternoon myself and that wind was quite a battle at times..needed a big(er) fella to hide behind.

We followed the sportive route as far as Raunds, then on towards Chelveston, rather than heading out towards Denford/Thrapston. Then Caldecott, Newton Bromswold, Swineshead, Riseley, Thurleigh and home via the Staughtons, and a BMW that wanted to get up close and personal :)

The wind was definitely more than I would have liked, but a very nice route, and so much better than working :)
