Wanted - Help with sourcing a winter bike

After the past few weeks my summer (read "only") bike is looking decidedly sorry for itself and therefore it's time to look for a winter bike before my Giant falls to pieces.

I have scoured ebay and loads of free-ads and can't see anything I think would be suitable for under, let's say, £200.

Any help and guidance on what I should be looking for, and where I should be looking, would be much appreciated and if anyone has something with a 54cm frame (or a "small" as Giant would call it) I may well be intested.

Boardman Road Sport 2014 - never used - £320

Advertising on behalf of my brother who has for sale an unused ex display Boardman Road Sport 2014, size Medium (53cm).

This was purchased last weekend as a bit of an impulse buy and he has had a change of heart and decided cycling is not for him.

Bike is absolutely immaculate and has never been ridden.

The spec is:

This would be perfect for a beginner road bike or a winter bike.

He is looking to recoup his money so asking £320.
Bike is located in Wolverhampton and local pickup is preferred.
