Road Race Sec

This years Rutland-Melton International Cicle Classic road race is on 21st April. Anyone planning to go?
Last year a group of us planned to ride there and back to Owston village (100mile round trip on good country roads), but the rain and floods got the better of us.
If you don't know the race, it is a good one to watch, being on a circuit for part of the course. It attracts all the big UK teams, plus UCI continental teams, so the quality of the field is probably the best you'll see outside of the ToB. It is also a tough race, with offroad/gravel tracks to challenge the riders - last year 22 finished out of 155 starters...
This is what it was like last year
, hopefully this year will be a bit dryer...
