What would look good is a shirt like that but with a 125 years commemerative logo- well we're only a year out-what's one year out of 125? would be great for members/officials to wear whan meeting people from other Johnny come lately clubs  I know the fact our club is 125/6 years old impresses me anyway!

"100 miler" sounds rubbish - sorry.

What about "100 - 2013 - 161"

or "annual 100/161 - 2013"

just a suggestion. :)

Haha.

Its just placeholder Tim, don't worry.

Di2 made a very good point that whatever it is called, 100 miler. Annual 100 mile ride, etc could go on the back.

My only comment with regards to what the "t-shirt" is...

you guys throw in a lot of suggestions going through and so the process gets quite long winded.
Firstly: is it a t-shirt or a jersey?
Secondly: what will it say on it?
Thirdly: is it to celebrate the clubs age or the 100 mile ride, or just for the sake of having another t-shirt?
Fourthly: Mark, the logo says founded 1887 on it, that tells people how old the club is.

My opinion on t-shirts is the simple the better and from the posts of shirts people like that seems to be a common like, therefore decide what it is for and the keep to that.

That is all :)

Some times you need italian flair ! Run the stripe down the shirt or from one shoulder down to the waist ? Per dire ?

Perhaps the less the text, the greater the potential appeal and less likelihood of the T shirts becoming dated. I think more people would be happy to purchase a "generic design" than one relating to an event they did not participate in. The shirts could always be overprinted for a specific event(s) ??

Love the retro idea, fantastic.

More plain T design is my preference. I think the Logo is great and the 125 is important. If its a retro style, why not hammer home the great heritage of the club?

Can't wait to get my hands on one of these.
