Are there any club caps knocking around for sale? I thought I'd ask before I go out and buy one :).

Not really Simon,

Facts are facts I am afraid regarding kit.

I have investigated other suppliers and all have the same estimated turn around which in most cases is 3 months plus (crazy in my view).

The last kit order is about to arrive this week or next and will be distributed. The club simply does have funds to buy a significant amount of overstock at this time.

So when this arrived we will consider when to put the next order in and the wait for that to arrive will continue!

PS, I got your email , thanks

thanks for info.

am I best waiting to make an order or should I get it in now so that you can gauge what the nature of demand is going to be?

Simon, I would wait at this stage. We are in dicussions on how best to proceed as we have a signicant new number of members like yourself. An email will be distributed to everyone when we are at a stage to re-order.

Geoff, a price list and order proceedure would be good to recieve, also a sample.

Other companies I have contacted are:

Sportful (3 months wait currently) but very good kit
Castelli (3 months wait currently) also very good kit

and Rapha (just kidding).

Everyone does seem happy with the quality of the Endura kit and it is a "known" process, it is just a painful wait for those individuals.

Best wishes

Hi David,
Re club kit. For what its worth my view on the quality of Endura is average at best. I've got a fair few items which are falling apart after only one or two seasons of use.

Lets not all jump on David, he's just the poor guy taking responsibility for processing the order for the club.

There is nothing anyone can do about the order already underway.

I thought things like this were supposed to be discussed at the AGM, club meetings etc.

We need to come up with a plan of action ready for the next batch of orders, rather than whinging about something that is irreversible now. We make ourselves informed and ready for the next one.

I suggest if people have alternative solutions, they are put forward to everyone at a meeting, then a vote can be made to choose the best option, based on supplier, time frames, quality, etc.

Anyone not at the meeting (probably me) can't then complain about timescales, quality and or missing a deadline for kit orders.

That is all.
