Quick thank you to Ruth Stapleton, Colin Mullins, Alec MacAndrew, Dave Wilson, Chris Preston, Mark Greenhow, Andy Holt, Craig Jallal and Dan Baxter (you know we're becoming a big club when surnames need to be used!)for helping out at today's Cycling festival, and everyone else who came along.
We had a fair bit of interest in the morning (I think everyone found the afternoon a bit quiet) and there were some lovely vintage bikes on show (I had my eye on a 70's Bianchi).

Kudos to the paratrooper that had to jump with the BSA strapped to him...lightweight it wasn't.

Be interesting to see how the 1889 fixed gear bike with 1inch chain would fair in the TT ...the bloke who owns it reckons he has to use parts from a tractor to repair it....proper engineering.

was that the one with the brake which just came down onto the tyre?
my kids had fun on the different bikes, although for me the star of the show as that beautiful Bianchi
