Don't forget own first aid kit, high vis jacket, warning triangle and two breathalysers ...
(I only wish I was joking)
Then there's all important string of onions to wear round your neck!!

I'm planning to take the 'Noah's Ark' approach and will take (at least) two of everything I can think of - especially after having had to ride last week's TT in a T-shirt having forgotten to bring a jersey.

hi Simon i did the Etape in 2007,, Limoges to St Flour 257kms..after the finish i took a wrong turn and did another 33kms to find my digs....beware you are totally 'z'z'z'z'...I see it is a short stage this year, but very hard..i suggest you get a 13 x 28 block with a compact cranks and a 34/36 ring or 13x32 (MTB)cassette if on 53 x 39/38...either way expect PAIN good luck Geoff..............

thanks - I'm hoping to finish but expecting to hurt.
I've had one jersey offer so far, but as you'll see not only is it not club colours but I think his 'pro fit' might come up a bit snug

I'd be interested in the medium items as it seems my large jersey is too big but I see Geoff beat me to the punch.

As much as upping my weekly miles (and a week of almost non-stop vomiting) has helped, I don't think I need worry about aiming for small or medium sizes.
Hopefully more size-appropriate attire has been secured (thanks Steve) so club colours will be on show in & around Annecy
