Hunstanton to Great Ormond Street Charity Ride

As many of you know, for a number of years I represented Great Britain in the sport of Water Ski Racing, and competed at many European and World events . The GB Team of 2005 who were based at Hunstanton rode(4 members) from The ski club to Great Ormond street for the charity in support of a family from the club who had just lost their 3 year old son to an illness despite the best efforts of the Great Ormond Street doctors and faciities. That year we raised just short of £10,000 . Unfortunately a year later one of the GB team & ride member Karl Brooks was killed in an accident whilst water ski training. It will be Five years in June since this accident and untimely death ,so to mark the time the remaining three of the Team are being joined by two members of the current GB Team to re ride the route 120 miles and hopefully raise funds to help this important Facility, which we are told requires donations of £25million per annum to continue its work to the full , each year events like ours will raise approximately £2million the remainder comes from corporate donations. please support us by following the link to the virgin giving site don't forget to gift aid.
