Probably won't affect too many but the road between Stow Longa and Spaldwick has just been surface dressed, with resultant loose clippings.

and also on the TT route Drove Rd to Waresley (past garden centre) and then after turn onto Gransden Rd heading towards Abbotsley.
hopefully bedding down a bit now, but still plenty of loose gravel to keep you on your toes

Waresley has bedded in quite nicely, a little bit of loose gravel at the T junction before Waresley but on the whole a fair surface.

Un-ridable in my opinion on a TT bike as proved by my puncture 5 mins before the TT.
Think a warning should have gone out to riders. If I had have known about it I would not have raced.
Sorry to sound like a kill joy but I have a bike in bits, ripped tubular tyre a big scratches on the frame. I know others had similar experiences last night.

You know me G, i'll take any advice. After all I am still pretty new to this sport.
I'm just annoyed given the damage.
Still remains the road conditions were shocking. Why the hell do that do that to our roads? #cheapskates

Afraid you've answered your own question David, it comes down to price and speed to seal the road surface before autumn/winter kicks in and water penetrates the surface. That's all surface dressing is good for, doesn't fix potholes at all.
