The London Sports Writing Festival starts on Thursday 17 October and has all kinds of excellent looking lectures on various elements of various sports.

For cycling fans, Sunday 20 October looks like an exciting day of events, with talks from people including Ned Boulting, Charly Wegelius, Rob Hayles and David Millar about various aspects of the sport.

The events are hosted at Lord's and each talk costs £10 per ticket -- it is NOT £10 for the whole day -- and must be purchased online through Lord's ticket office. Registration is required.
