If anyone is interested, we've had the following request come in from UK Cycling Events who run Wiggle's sportives
We are running the No Excuses Sportive on the 1st March and the Steeple Chase Sportive on the 6th September, and would like to invite you and your members to ride the event for free in return for some assistance with the registration of riders and car parking at the Event Venue. All volunteers who ride will also receive a free Finishers T-Shirt and High 5 Event Pack. We also need to recruit a number of Marshalls who are happy to work all day and in this instance we will pay a day rate
Regards

Geoff, don't worry. I can read your mind and have a pretty good idea what you want to say. Look forward to catching up in April. Shame you won't be around to see our first RR in March though.

Probably neither Andy I'm afraid!
I did registration at the New Forest sportive as they were full on entries but had planned to ride it with Ed and Yvonne. I can't comment on the marshalling but to get a free entry into what are very well set-up sportives I'd certainly do the sign on or car park cat herding.
