Abandoned bike found

On 3rd April I found a blue Aravis ‘Audax’ type bike apparently dumped / abandoned on my ride home to Sandy. I’m guessing it was stolen and dumped.

I’ve reported it to Beds Police – but other than offering to collect it from me they don’t seem hugely interested…….!

I know that the bike was supplied (in whole or part) by Byercycles of Clifton (now no longer trading). The owner has checked his sales records but can’t identify the bike / its purchaser.

So I’m contacting local cycle clubs to see if anyone knows who the rightful owner is.

I can supply a picture(s) – but obviously I’d expect the legitimate owner to be able to describe the bike easily.

If anyone thinks it's their bike or knows whose it is, reply to this and I'll let you have Nigel's contact details.
