Many thanks was created by terry694
I would sincerely like to start this topic by saying a massive Sorry to to Ritchie and Mark colmer for the injuries they received as a result of the crash on Sunday.
and wish them a genuine speedy recovery and hope that they don't hold me responsible for what happened. It was quite honestly a temporary lack of concentration
I don't often get spooked that easy but that crash certainly scared me and Im sorry if anyone else was effected by it. My only real memory of the incident was my head hitting the concrete then every thing else was lost until the Ct scan in hospital.
I've only just got my phone and was genuinely over whelmed by all the well wishers who had left text and email messages and for the visitors who came to see me but most of all a massive extended thanks to Steve Walker who has been in my eyes an absolute star especially for bringing Ryan to the hospital And I'm just sorry I couldn't remember and the gaps are still being filled in.
I know listening to people that were in that group yet again stepped up to the plate and for me you are an absolute credit to SNCC.
I've lost count of how many lifes Ive used up now but I'm sure I went past 9 many years ago and sunday is right up there with them but I'm under no illusion that this type of incident comes with cycling.
As an update And without going into any great detail I had an operation on Monday morning to remove Bedfordshire from my elbow, arms, legs and back and also managed to get to 15 seconds before the general anaesthetic put me to sleep (PR). I was due to come home yesterday but became unwell so was kept in overnight. I am now home although still feeling extremely groggy with the mother of all headaches but wanted to post this as a priority.

Its really is complicated

All the very best, mate. You gave us a fright, but the important thing is that you're back home and OK. I'll pop in and see you in the next day or two (also I have some of your stuff).

I'm sure nobody in the group thinks that it was anyone's fault. Unfortunately these things do sometimes happen. Everyoe in the club wishes all three of you a speedy recovery.

Hi Terry, I really pleased to hear you are on the road to recovery; you really did us all a scare. So that's 3 bunches of grapes I need to buy this weekend, 1 for you, 1 for Rich and 1 for Jon, bugger this is getting expensive. I’m working in Yorkshire at the moment so hope to get to see you at the weekend.

I bet you have already been on your Turbo!
