Can anyone shed any light on this>
I have done a few miles in the last couple of days but nothing super heavy.
woke up last night with a lot of pain on the inside of my right knee
never suffered before with this.
Bikes all RETUL fitted no changes there
I`m putting it down to not doing much riding recently and doing too much too soon in cold conditions but any help greatly received
was hoping to get out on the last club run in the morning but its looking doubtful now

Check cleats not moved or worn
Is saddle marked by leg hitting on one side ?
Get a massage every week............................one problem somewhere else can show up on another part of the body !! Could be tight back or shoulders, as simple as that ! Tight hamstring on other leg etc etc

I have the same problem at the moment, not serious pain as such but if I go for a more than an hour it starts to hurt a bit and no matter how much I do it gets very stiff after a ride for a couple of days, just on the inner side of my knee cap. Mine just started one ride and I thought I would just get on with it but ignoring it didn't work!
I think rest and then build back up slowly is probably the best bet!

Salt (sodium) deficiency is NOT a cause of cramp. That's an old wives tale.
Cramp could be caused by a potassium or calcium deficiency - try eating an occasional banana (high in potassium).

I have had the same problem, I have found that the distance between the handlebars, the seat and the peddles causes the peddle power problem
IE, your cycling geometry is off, you are right handed and you use your right leg to produce more power. completely normal.
TRY raising your saddle 1 inch (ie, extend your reach and move your bum backwards), and think left !!
sounds strange, but try it.
