All members welcome, the venue is the Rowing Club in St. Neots.

Please contact the club if you are attending by transferring a donation
of at least £10 to SNCC (payment to Sort Code 40-40-10 Acct 80724513).
Instead of the money going to SNCC we will be donating all the money to
"Masaka Cycling Club" is a charity in Uganda and Martin Taylor is
heavily involved with this charity.

Martin Taylor will be doing a presentation on the Masaka Cycling Club,
it is a very worthy cause.

We have a limit of 60 members at this time we have about 32 members paid
to attend. If you are going to attend please let us know by Tues 12th
Nov so we can update the Caterers.

The Guest Speaker is George Fox (the current British Record Holder at 10
miles for a Road Bike)

Dress Code casual (jeans allowed).

Food Curry, Chilli and a Veggie/Vegan Option (if you are requiring the
Veggie/Vegan option please email the club separately) plus cake for
dessert. Free first drink.

Full details on the Agenda and Timings for the evening will be sent out
with the Weekly Bulletin. Please arrive for 1900 to get your free drink
and we will start the AGM at 1915.

SNCC COMMITTEE VOLUNTEERS & AGM...

We are still seeking "Nominations for position on the Committee" as stated in previous Weekly Bulletins, the Chairman, Social Secretary and Media and Website Manager are stepping down.

We have had some people volunteer for all positions except for the Social Secretary. If you want to serve on the committee you can still put yourself forward or you can say you are interested at the AGM.

The roles are very rewarding and we have been lucky in having a very hard working committee during my tenure. 

To stand for election, you can either put your name forward at the AGM itself or by emailing the Club in advance, the preference is in advance so we can guarantee that we will have a full committee next year.

Roles and Responsibilities

The committee consists of volunteers who are elected by the members each year at the AGM.

In addition to the roles and responsibilities which are detailed below, committee members may be asked to take the lead on specific events or initiatives which may arise.

Chairperson Ensure that the club satisfies the needs of the members
Ensure that the club provides a safe and inclusive environment
Review and arbitrate on any grievances that may arise

Vice Chairperson Support the Chairperson, as required

Treasurer Manage the club’s finances
Process annual membership fees and liaise with those looking to join the club

General Secretary Provide administration for committee meetings and the AGM
Maintain the club constitution
Provide a focal point for the club’s membership to British Cycling and other cycling organisations

TT Secretary Provide a focal point for TT events within the club

 
Media & website Secretary Manage the club’s website and social media accounts
Manage distribution of the weekly bulletin and other club circulars

Social Secretary Organise club social events
