On Mon evening the 2023 AGM and Presentation Evening was held at the Rowing Club starting at 7pm. Many thanks to all our members in making the evening a success.

Some 32 members attended with apologies from another 6 who couldn't attend. The minutes of the AGM will be distributed shortly.  The amount raised for Kidney Research UK was £520 many thanks for the donations form our club membership. The Bradford Family are very pleased that we have raised money for their Fathers nominated charity.

Following the AGM we had Curry, Chilli or a vegetarian offering with cake. The drink was well consumed with the first drink being paid for by the Club. Our guest speaker Hayley Simmonds with her husband Mark thoroughly enjoyed themselves and they were great company. After the food Hayley then did a verbal rundown of her Rowing Career and how she got into Cycling and remained there. There was then a 25 minute Question and Answer session, many thanks for all the questions, we never had a break between questions. 

Then we had the presentation, we started with the Leon Bradford Shield which went to Simon Winter and was presented by Adrain Bradford. After that the rest of the Trophies were presented by Hayley.

FInally we retired to the bar and the evening concluded just after 10.30pm.
