Sorry this is a bit late, what with Martin being away and me not reading his message properly I managed to miss the deadline.

It's been a historic month within the club with Sam McDonald breaking the club 10 and 100 miles TT records, I hope you enjoyed reading his report about it. Sam is a dedicated Time Trialler and is very modest, he is now ranked in the overall CTT top 100 at 100 miles! Great effort.

Keeping up the TT theme and unusually for me a plea for help - We are looking for volunteers for our Inter Club event on Sat 27th Jul. It's not a great amount of time, we are looking at borrowing your time from 0900 to 1200 to help make the SNCC Inter Club 10 a success, the event itself is on the Abbotsley course. The volunteers required are:-

2 timekeepers (being asked separately)

1 pusher off

6 marshalls

2 for sign on/off

1 kitchen

We currently have 5 volunteers, to make the event viable we do need the above voluntary positions filled. So if you spare a little time please contact Norman King (This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.) directly or contact the club. Many thanks

TTs are in full swing at the moment with the Club TT every Thurs at Abbo continuing till the end of Aug, unluckily we lost 2 events in Jun (weather and road works), signs are that numbers will increase. The Inter Club has started and a number of members are a;lso riding Open TTs with some great results.

Welcome to Tina Dankwart has just joined the SNCC Committee as the "Female Representative'' and has recently set-up the SNCC Femmes rides which is quickly gaining good traction and at the last ride (Wednesday see club calendar meet 1945 at One Leisure), 5 ladies were out. We expect to see this number grow by the end of the summer.  We are sure she will add a lot to the club and to the Ladies of the club. If you want to contact her to join her ladies rides then please contact the club or talk to her directly.

A number of members are riding long distances at the moment - Gary Adnitt recently rode Chase the Sun with Martin Taylor in a very impressive time, which makes my time look pathetic. Coming up we've got 3 members riding the Dunwich Dynamo, it costs nothing to enter, see the Weekly Bulletin for further details.

The Chain Gang - Justin is still riding them, we believe the weather has not helped numbers but if the weather keeps improving perhaps some of the faster members of the club can join him on a Tues.

Sun rides seem to be a struggle with numbers. Is 0900 the start time you want or would you prefer 0830 in the "warmer months", please give feedback to a committee member or contact the club. The good news is the Short numbers are up as we had 6 members on one ride.
