Gents I'm slowly putting together a list of routes for each group to pick and choose from. We want more people to get involved leading the routes each week as it is a burden if it is the same people doing it each week.

I'm going to ride with group 2 for the next few weeks, so count me out of organising group 1 rides for the next few weeks.

Anyway, I would suggest rather than trying to arrange over the forum, that you nominate some one each week to organise the next weeks ride. That person is responsible for organising the route and leading it. There are enough of us now who know the local routes and roads - Joe, Ade, Tim (bit risky perhaps), Jason, Richard W, Alec, Di2, Steve B are all G1 riders who could do this.

My only piece of advice on routes is don't be tempted to use roads we don't normally use - there is a reason why we don't use them, usually because the busy and that pleasant to ride.

hi joe as suggested a few posts back,,we now have a monthly club/social night. surely i would not take long to plot 4 rides for the following month....ok ok ok..down here my club keeps a record of all the rides done each week, that's 3 club runs..this list is kept and every month we ride the same route as we did LAST year..so if a years runs are kept, you could just keep doing them..see ya G..
