London to Paris in 24 hours was created by Andrew Kinglake
In search of something to focus on next year, this is appealing. I thought I poll to see if any others would be interested?

Start early evening at Trafalgar Square, 60 odd miles to Newhaven. Ferry to Dieppe then 140ish miles to Paris. Night in Paris then home on the Eurostar. (You could pretend to be romantic and meet another half there who may also have a change of clothes.)

Cost reasonable. Perhaps ferry £30, Hotel £40 and Eurostar £60. Plus food enroute and a celebratory beer.

Anyone else interested for around midsummer next year?

No specific date planned. Just wanted to see of there was any interest. Glad to see there os.

Suggest a discussion at a club evening int he new year to look at dates. (The later in the year the better for this diesel to get up to fitness!)

Anyone else?
